She’s a killer –
Her owner said she had only taken 7 fingers that day, and that she was still hungry. Funny, she doesn’t look vicious…

Nice weekend. Hope yours was too? This photo from Snoqualamie Falls sums it up nicely –
Very relaxing and the weather was perfect.
Hammer and Tongs. Vintage motocross. AWESOME!
In no particular order, enjoy…..
There was tons more. Gonna go back next time and see if I can do better with the camera.
It’s not like I only took the one photo….
The hippo was getting some lunch. Clearly the diet of greens is not working –
The King was there looking like he owned the place –
The flamingos were doing flamingo things, like taking a bath –
And then climbing out of the dryer looking perfect –
Then there was this Red Crowned Crane. Just looked good in the lens –
And a duck that reminded me of my new motorcycle –
And then, on my way out, this goat tells me that if he could just get his ears to flap fast enough, he was “gonna fly right on out of there….” I didn’t doubt him –
Thanks again to Woodland Park Zoo for being a cool place to spend a couple hours with the camera after work.
Snuck out of work and headed off to the zoo to check out the new (to us) cheetahs –
If I wanted to watch cats lie around, take an afternoon nap, and basically do nothing, I could have gone home. Worlds fastest gato? Lazy cats, nothing more. (Of course I say this from my side of the fence separating me and said lazy cats. I’m not insane.)
I was making a B line for it anyway –
With an invite like that, how could I resist? Then I found out the sign was actually for my Mexican/New Zealand friend, Sénor Yãtes. Good thing he’s outta town, I drank his beer too.
That’s how tall Mount Baker is. And this is what it looks like from 100 miles away on a cloudless day in the Pacific Northwest –
Not the greatest photo, but the best I can do with my measly skill set.
