I was making a B line for it anyway –
With an invite like that, how could I resist? Then I found out the sign was actually for my Mexican/New Zealand friend, Sénor Yãtes. Good thing he’s outta town, I drank his beer too.

That’s how tall Mount Baker is. And this is what it looks like from 100 miles away on a cloudless day in the Pacific Northwest –
Not the greatest photo, but the best I can do with my measly skill set.
You don’t see that every day –
That’s a rather slightly modified 747, pretty awesome sight. Looks like a fat guppy, no?
Then they get nuts –
And out pops a couple wings for the Dreamliner –
They’ll glue ’em on across the street and away it goes to some happy customer in some far flung corner of the world.
This all happens right up the street. Pretty cool, huh?
The weather guessers that is. Rained off and on all day, sun never did show up. That’s okay, the grass and the garden are loving it –
Dunno what this one is, but it’s cool, I like it. Bonus, no dandelion in the background!
Carry on.
Bit of a gully-washer this morning. Gave everything a solid rinse. Bit of a break now, with more later tonight and tomorrow morning. Flowerbed is loving it –
I like how the droplets hang to the flowers.
And never mind the dandelion. Pretend it’s not even there. It may or may not get pulled. A lot depends on something or another. Not sure what. When I find that out, then we’ll have a conclusion as to the fate of the dandelion.
Sorry about the lapse, tough week. I’ll fill you in later.
Right now, it’s back to work for the bees out in the garden –
Better get after it Mr. Bee, before the rains hit tonight.
Good news/bad news about the rains; The firefighters are desperate for the cooler/wet weather. Problem is it comes with a chance of lightning and thunder. Hope they get the good bits and not the bad ones. Hats off to them for the effort they’re putting in.
There’s this little gem –
Not content with the racecar, Dave decided he needed a really special pit bike….
Legs are nice. As in Aston Martin Superleggera –
Mr. Bond would have been envious. Although this was a 4, and I think Bond had a 5?
C’mon lotto ticket…..
