Change is coming

It’s been ~~a really nice~~ one helluva Summer, but Fall is making it’s case. The flowers are giving their last hurrah –

We’ll see where we are in a week or two. (Should be blanketed in grey, soaked thru, with about 6 hours of daylight. ((And that, my friends, is why Starbucks is the 800 pound gorilla it is.))

Lazy cat

I got out of work early, pedaled home and proceeded to clean the gutters. Followed it up with the last lawn mowing of the year. My cat did this –

Lazy cat didn’t even offer to help.
He’s just happy his tongue is fixed.
And that he can roll around in the dirt covered driveway.
All very cat-like.

Good work cat, well done.

You should see him try and drink out of the water bowl. Absolutely hilarious. And quite messy.

They’re out there

Still pedaling to work, so the photos will have to be local. Spotted these guys in the garden munching on the plant life –

In some cultures, they’re considered a delicacy. In my neck of the ~~woods~~ urban sprawl, they’re considered disgusting. Certainly by the green thumb around here anyway. The insecticides will be flying in no time…..
