Line forms to the left

That’s where the apple tree is. It is apparently the last stop before the buffet –

buffet

The price is right to. For the birds anyway. All you can eat for the meager sum of avoiding the cats.

Not so much anymore

They’re as likely to move rocks around on barges as they are to use these old rail cars –

I think they spelled it wrong

Should it have been Leaf instead of Leif? In this setting, maybe –

Either way, he’s Ballard’s own resident ‘tough guy’. I mean really, look at that face and tell me you think you could take him? Add in the kickin hat, and you’ve got NO chance.

Creepy looking fungi

This is the craziest mushroom I’ve ever seen. And it’s living in my yard –

I’m thinking of making tea with it, ya know, just to see what happens.

No fishing today

Not when it’s 43 and about to rain –

Fish ain’t biting today anyway.

You’ve gotta start somewhere

Be it saving the planet, or keeping your house in order, you’ve gotta start somewhere –

Yard waste, recycling, trash. In that ORDER! Or is that trash, yard waste, recycling? I can never remember.

You know where I’m coming from….

It’s getting that way around here

Candy Cane Lane is warmed up and ready to go –

This week I’ll let Marla drag me over there and take some photos for all you Christmas lovers out there.

It’s like one of those ‘Mind’s Eye’ puzzles

Except that there’s no hidden image. You will not see the Mona Lisa after staring at it for 60 seconds. Neil Armstrong standing on the moon is not going to magically appear. You also will not find the Declaration of Independence hidden in there. Likely the only thing you’re going to get is a headache. So don’t stare for long –

Just the neighbor’s new driveway and I liked the way the lines did their line thing.

I think I can do better and will go back tomorrow for more shots.

There’s a new chicken in town

And his name is Sam –

Marla picked him up in Whistler. He fits right in with the rest of the brood; Filling up that box window, overseeing kitchen activities, and supervising the dish-washing.

Good work chicken, keep it up.

Ornamental

Or so I’m told when I ask what those are there for –

Okay Mike, if you say so.
