I think he wants in –

Doesn’t look like the first time either.
He’s probably forgotten the side door is open just for him.
Silly cat.

Like a tiny little speck of green –

But one day this little speck of green will grow up to become a mighty oak ( Actually, it’ll likely be some sort of evergreen in this neck of the woods, but why ruin the phrase).
Good luck little tree. We’re rooting for you.
Get it? I knew you would.
… that Spring is coming –
And some evidence that maybe, it’ll be a while longer –
The rain has returned. Perfect timing to wash in the moss killer applied over the weekend. That’s when you know it’s Spring, when you’re raking moss out of the lawn.
You visited, you brought flowers, you chatted, you made Marla’s day –
Thanks guys, you’re AWESOME friends!
She’s a little worn out, weathered, and frayed from all the poking and prodding –
But, strong as ever, and holding tight.
Thanks everyone for all of your support.
Marla’s been sidelined (hospitalized) by a wonky heartbeat. Ticker not in tune with the removal of the tailbone, I suspect. Though the good people taking care of her think the surgery and the A-fib are just a co-incidence. My gut feeling is that stress & drugs & rock-n-roll of the surgery were just too much. So they took her away in a blaze of lights last night at 6. The cats were terrified at all the people in the house. The wonderful people from Shoreline’s Emergency Medical Services took fantastic care of her (THANK YOU!!!). And now she’s resting in the hospital. Should be home tomorrow, but for now, benched again –

As a side note; This does mean the Girl Scout cookies are first come, first served – Right?
Did you REALLY just wake me up?
Okay, now I’m gonna have to kill you –
So says the big grey cat.
Felix, you’re nothing less than a pushover.
My folks sent get wells for The Patient –
The Patient is spending another night at la hospital. The pain is too much to control, so she’s gonna stay where the experts can help her best. Should be bringing her home in the morning.
Thanks Mom & Pop, you guys are awesome. She’ll see this on her phone, from the hospital room, and it’ll make her want to get home even more.
Quite the blur really. Even though it seemed to take forever –
Recap tomorrow, but things went well. Thanks to everyone at Swedish for taking care of Marla for me –
