They’ll grow just about anywhere. Like in cracks in the sidewalk –

Gotta give ’em credit.
Then, rip them out of wherever they may be, and OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!
Thanks,
The Mgmt.

Rains came back today –

We’ll have to wait and see if they bring Mayflowers as promised.
And what do Mayflowers bring?
Supposed to rain tomorrow, probably best to get the sunny flower photos today. I’ve been led to believe these are future tulips –
We’ll have to check back and see what they turn into.
Stay tuned….
It was a cherry blossom kinda day –
Felix was waiting for me when I got home –
Good walk.
On another perfect Seattle afternoon –
So there’s that. Supposed to be nice for a few days. Golf in the AM, maybe a motorcycle ride in the afternoon, some yardwork Sunday – Yup, Spring here, kicks ass.
Just the afternoon though, the morning was a bit of a mess. The Cherry Blossoms responded in kind –
They shed something wicked, and I’d not like to have one, but they sure are nice to look at in some of the neighborhoods around here. I’ll see about getting a better shot over the weekend.
The rains returned. The daffodils out by the driveway are loving it –
Also saved me from watering the mud/seed/slime concoction that is the yard. So I got that going for me.
So golf was cold but the temperature was successfully battled with a vodka/OJ/Midori combo. It reawakened those muscles that you only ever use for golf, so now they’re sore.
Then it was time to do this to the yard (more musculoskeletal abuse) –
Power rake to the max. Thatched front and back, here and up the street at Mike & AJ’s. It may look bad now, but this is going to help the lawns massively. Aeration is next. If the muscles ever forgive me. Didn’t know I was going to beat myself up this weekend (actually, I kinda had an idea).
BIG THANKS to Mike for all the help! Woulda never got it done without you Meathead.
The neighbor has a bit of everything in the yard. Mostly, it looks cluttered. But I will admit, sometimes they have something that gives a smile –
They’re cool.
