And happy as peas in a pod –
Off to win big at the track tomorrow, wish me luck.
No photos today, today was full of broken stuff. Broken cars at 6am, broken motorcycles at 1pm, broken computers all afternoon. It’s a no camera kind of day.
That being that, here’s something from the other day at Gas Works Park –
Bear with me til I get things in order…..
Not much to see, but had to explore it nonetheless. The fauna is loving the weather –
So are the weeds –
The creek is flowing pretty good –
I thought about acting my best Tarzan and walking across on the fallen tree. I opted for the footbridge 30 feet to the right instead.
You now have seen most of the 1/2 acre park, thanks for visiting with us today.
The Mgmt.
Sun made an appearance today. Locals, typically, went nuts. The people all get out and about doing whatever, so long as it’s outside in the sun –
Nice day to walk around Gas Works –
Yup, that’s my town. Kinda, sorta…
So take a few shots, see what comes of it, then post one up –
Kinda summed it all up nicely.
So there ya have it.
Sunshine; “Last of the moving tasks need to be completed after work. Go to my house, have a beer and when I get done with work, we’ll get after it.”
Me; “Sure thing.”
So while waiting for 6 o’clock to roll around, I sat on his deck and took a few photos. Nice day, and the idiots paragliders were out –
Everyone has their own pace –
Flier, floating, upstream –
The hawks were out looking for dinner –
Papa sparrow was making sure the hawks didn’t raid his nest –
This little guy was having dinner too –
By then it was time to get on with it. We moved what we could fit, leaving the last bits for later. Marla joined us, making sure the team was on point. Once the project wrapped, we commenced continued making beer disappear. The girls contributed by making 2 bottles of wine disappear. Good work Team.
So there was Thursday’s post about fliers, late, due to beer.
Fenced in, or out, by this? Not likely.
The purples are a nice touch.
Dunno what they are, but they look good this afternoon.
Nice park, great day to walk around in it.
Perfect weather to blow outta work early and go to the zoo –
The penguins were taking advantage of the sunshine to work on their tans –
The jaguar had just eaten lunch. A cow I think –

Obviously stuffed, he took a nap too –

Then I stumbled across this dude. He’s a Red Ruffed Lemur. He’s VERY intense. Well, maybe not, but he looks like it –
Then I saw some TV star –
Then I found the big cat. Mama lion was yelling for her cubs –
All 4 came running back to her, INSTANTLY! –
Playtime doesn’t end just because mom called –
And just like that, the star attractions were gone for the day. Oh well, I guess I’ll have to go back.
On the way out, I did spy one last wild animal –
So there was my great idea for the day.
Can’t you see that it’s cold, raining, blowing 25 knots, and generally miserable outside?

You picked today to get your paddleboard on?
Crazy fool. Only in Seattle.
