Had a bit of a birthday this week (not mine, we’ve cancelled that for the foreseeable). So first, thanks to all of you that sent notes and cards and such, the birthday girl genuinely appreciates your kind wishes.

With it freezing at night and a high of 42, it’s not likely to make it much longer.
Now it’s just gonna be COLD. Hope the firebush survives –
We thought it was a gonner last year, but it came back healthy as can be. We’ll see if it hangs in through this winter.

Good day today for the foot (day off from work, just resting). Not so much for motorcycle shopping (desired motorcycle not in stock).

Tired of keeping it together for all these years, the fence is in the process of giving up –
I like the way it hasn’t totally given up, yet is making enough of a statement –
What the fence doesn’t know is that the alternative, being kindling, might not be all that.
I’ll have a chat with the fence…
Had to collect the patient from work today. Her building is at Second & Spring –
Big tall building. She’s pretty important, so she gets one of those windows –
All in good fun. And a nice day out to boot.
