Weatherman was right, it was blowing something fierce over the weekend. Wicked little storm that I’m sure they gave a catchy name like ‘Arctic Blast 2013’ or something. It gave us a power outage that lasted 18 hours. It’s over, we survived, time to celebrate –
No more Jimmy-Jackin around, something with rum, please.
Windy, rainy, and nasty is in the forecast, so grab hold of something and hold on –

At least he’s getting some exercise.

Proof that Fall is indeed here (fog-ageddon had us fooled there for a while);
I like this shot of this afternoon’s sun filtered through the foliage –

Notice the lack of rainfall? It’s been perfect like that the last couple days.
The fog has been great for the mushrooms.
Now those are some good looking shrooms. I don’t think you’re supposed to eat them though. They’d probably kill you.

Things are just warming up. After sunset, all bets are off –
Watch your little ones, they wouldn’t stand a chance against this cat.
Kinda odd. I don’t remember having a stretch like this before. Makes for a different perspective on things. Like the lake –

No running up the waterspout, but with a bit of fall color –

Another beauty of a day for all the critters. We’re gonna just ride it out. Til Winter sets in anyway.
