He was trying to escape, I was wise to his shenanigans –
Love me some Woodland Park Zoo. Surprises me every time I go.

Sun came out (don’t worry, it’s scheduled to disappear again tomorrow), place warmed up a bit, and it almost felt like Spring. Apparently I wasn’t the only one that thought so;
The fish had better be careful, Mr. Fisherman is on the prowl –
The volunteer lifeguard was on duty –
Even the turtles were sunning themselves –
I tell ya, all you gotta do is add a little sun, and this town pops –
Today’s shots courtesy of Greenlake.
Thanks Greenlake.
At least in the flower beds at my house –
It’s mid-February, 45 and raining, the weather forecast is calling for snow, and yet these guys are popping up all over the place. Not sure what they’re gonna be, but they sure ain’t waiting for Spring.
Hope they make it.
Early part of the last century, they knew how to make a headlight for your car –
Didn’t throw a whole lot of light, but it looked good doing it.
Went to the LeMay Museum over the weekend, good stuff. If you’re ever in Tacoma with a couple minutes to spare, well worth a visit.
Good afternoon for a walk around the lake. I try and take photos of the ducks –
They’re hard to get a decent photo of cause they won’t stand still. Nervous little buggers –
It’s a game we play, they bob and weave, I look like an idiot trying to take their picture. I’ll keep trying, but they’ll likely have the last laugh.
Mukilteo Light Station –
Closed in the winter, so we’ll have to go back in a couple months to go inside. Cool though.
