They’ll do that –
Zoom in close, he’s kinda cool.
If you want to find those waterfalls in Canada, you gotta get your walking shoes on. Couple of shots from the hike to and from Nairn falls.
Did that make any noise?
Yes, that river was making some noise –
This rock wouldn’t fit in your living room –
And this little bugger wasn’t giving up. No way, no how –
All in good fun. Just bring those walking shoes.
Canada. America’s hat. And exceptional purveyor of bears –
Good looking bear. Just hanging out having a salad. Watching her figure I’m sure.
And another thing they’re good at in Canada? Waterfalls! Such as Alexander Falls –
The 230 foot drop of Brandywine Falls –
And a couple of rumblin, stumblin, bumblin, Nairn Falls –
And that concludes our ‘What Canada’s good at’ nature tour for today. But not before one last bear shot. We think it’s the same bear, the following day. You be the judge –
More documentation of the field trip to Canada tomorrow.
Only birdies that I had any shot at –
On the first tee at Druid’s Glen. Mom duck was there to make sure the troop was safe. Everyone safely navigated their tee shots, and that was the last, best shot at birdie I had all day.
Summer like heat wave around here. The flowers are lovin it –
And the Rhododendrons are outta sight this year –
Lotsa color everywhere. Me likes.
But I like the purple in him –
Probably some sort of hybrid named after the local college team colors.
Not to our rhododendron anyway. Despite it’s lack of sun and nutrients, it’s blooming –
Just a couple flowers on ours. Unlike this big bastard across the street from Señor Yatés –
Now that’s a rhodie!
And yes, it’s raining around here.
