Not that! Though it is legal now….
Tulips. From the garden. Courtesy of the one with the green thumb –
That’s a pretty good start. Give ’em a few more days.

Know how I know? Tulips. When the tulips show up, it’s Spring –
That’s what you get when the sun warms this place up after 180 days of rain.
We like it.
Call-sign Thunder Buddy. Seriously. Now that’s funny –
Don’t know my fighter jets, might be a F18?
I like the squiggly contrail forming off the wingtip.
And the call-sign.
Eagle photos –
So there’s that. Just a couple of young eagles out chasing each-other around and enjoying the sunny, Spring day.
I think they’re pretty cool.
More eagles from last week that I said I’d get to over the weekend (I didn’t). Whatever, here they are now –
Wait! Not an eagle. And I think he’s a little miffed by the mix-up. Here –
Sorry, cormorant. How’d that get in there? Here –
Quacker? DOH! That’s my mistake. I’ve got it this time –

Okay seriously, like the white gull, I got lazy and haven’t got to the eagle photos. But I did find these guys today. It got windy this afternoon and they were all keeping dry to stay warm. Or something.
Maybe tomorrow for the eagle pics, but not if I ride to work. We’ll see….
This is Ghost Rider requesting a flyby –
Negative, Ghost Rider, the pattern is full. Of course we all know what happened nest (and don’t BS me either, YOU ALL know).
So the young eagles were out playing in the sunny, afternoon breeze at Log Boom Park. And just like the movie, they proceeded to buzz the tower. And of course, whatever else they were inclined to buzz –
There’s a bunch more, I’ll get to them over the weekend.
Watching this behemoth land –
Mt Baker in the background is 65 miles away, standing a proud 10,781 feet tall.
Stalking a little morsel –
Stood like that for 10 minutes without moving a muscle. The most patient bird I’ve ever seen.
