Great Blue Heron

On his turf. At first he was a bit shy –

 

I'll just hide back here where no-one can see me

I’ll just hide back here where no-one can see me

 

After a while, he warmed up to me got hungry enough to go back to fishing –

 

Don't bother me, I'm fishing for me supper

Don’t bother me, I’m fishing for me supper

 

Awesome creature. I’m sure the frogs and turtles that he was having for dinner might think differently, but I think he’s cool.
