Weatherman told us this was to be the hottest weekend of the year in Seattle. Might even hit 86 degrees! My Austrian/Italian friend Gee had his brother in town for a few days; Meet John Cap –

So the Brothers Cap, Marla and I hopped on the motorcycles and went for a ride –

We saw Mt. Rainier up close and personal –

Then we headed over Chinook Pass where we stopped for a few photos –

The diehards were telemarking down the hill –

Someone spotted a mountain goat at the top of the ridge, I took this amazing shot –

At the bottom of the hill, we found the valley where yesterdays photo was taken. The brothers were prepared with shorts, and jumped in the river –

After they thawed out, we got on the motorcycles and beat it for home. A solid 220 mile day.
