The Serengeti is beautiful this time of year –
Unfortunately, here in Seattle it’s raining cats & dogs, blowing a gale and generally making a mess of things.
Besides, that photo was taken in Half Moon Bay, California. Looks a lot closer to a full moon if you ask me.
Mother Nature made the photo, I just pushed a button to capture it –
Easy, peasy.
It doesn’t happen often, but every now and then I manage to point that camera at something, and I like the end result. This was one of those rare instances –
I think it was due to the fact that I was in the company of greatness. Thanks Sis.
Last couple runs of the season I would guess –
Gotta be stunning up there right about now.
Bring your dog up real close, show him this photo, and yell “SQUIRREL!”

But don’t be fooled, time to batten down the hatches.
Just because he pooped on your car, doesn’t necessarily make him a bad bird –
They’re actually pretty cool birds.
They gotta poop somewhere.
I think they’re cool.
Saturday was a perfect day for a plane ride –
Thanks to Paul Allen and the Flying Heritage Combat Armor Museum for keeping these things flying. Very cool stuff.

I love that the corporate plane has pontoons –
It’s a real beaut. Especially considering it’s ten years old. Somebody takes good care of her.
