They’ll never admit it,

but they love each-other like brothers –

Barley thinks Felix is his best pal.
Felix acts like Barley is nothing more than a pain in the backside.
Barley blends in better with the furniture.
Felix blends in better with the feed bag (like me!).
But when nobody is looking, they’re two peas in a pod. That I caught them acting like it is not something Felix is happy about.

Good work cats! You’re doing a bang-up job, of being cats.

Was a precursor to tonight’s misery. Marla got another cortisone shot for her shattered tailbone today. Those brownies will make good comfort food. Even the local wildlife is showing their concern –

Don’t worry bub, she’ll be fine. And your food will be replenished at proper intervals.
