There’s not a leaf on this one (well, maybe a couple) –
Not my tree, so nothing I had to rake up after either, thankfully.
I just liked the way it looked against the clouds. Carry on.

I’ll take THINGS THAT I HATE FOR A THOUSAND, please Alex –
What is, RAKING LEAVES?
And before any of you get all nostalgic and start waxing lyrical about how ‘When I was young, we had to rake 13 miles of leaves, in the snow, uphill, both ways…..’; Zip it. I still hate raking leaves. Plus, it’s been a long time since I was anything close to resembling young. Add in the rain and the dark after work, and it totals up to Sucks-ville. Population 1 – ME!
Only one more tree to go this winter. Yay! Well that and the entire front yard that has been ignored for 6 or 8 months. But never mind about that for now.
I swear, the next house will have a grand total of ZERO trees on the property. Either that, or it comes with a landscaper.
Just sayin.
Sorry about the poor photo, it really was quite dark out. Stretched the limits of the camera, and it shows.
Vacation is over, time to get back to work and relax –
* 7 am, it was 20 degrees out, & the wind was blowing a bit when this photo was taken. Harder than being at work for certain.
Maybe more from Canada later. Not sure if there’s anything good. We’ll see.
So what do you do with a beaut of a Sunday in the middle of November in Seattle? I’ll tell what I’d do; I’d go have lunch at Ray’s and stare out at this –
Yup, that’s what I’d do we did. Not so shabby.
Clouds that is. Just started rolling in this afternoon –
Things should start warming up now. And maybe I can get back to the pedal commute?
Hope so.
by the choke-hold of a polar vortex (whatever that is), I’ve not a taken a single picture this week. Until today. And this is what I came up with –
Last week 50’s and pedaling to work, this week too cold to hold the camera. Bring back the rain so this place can warm up a little, and I can get back to the bicycle riding.
Saturday certainly was, and Seattleites flocked outdoors to enjoy the weather. The Market was crowded. Too crowded. We cocktailed it. View was nice –
Happy Veterans Day to all the veterans out there – You guys and gals deserve your own day. Thanks.
He’s not so little, but judging by the looks of him, I think he’s a youngster –
He’s been rooting around the Lyon Creek spillway by the Burke-Gillman Trail for the last week or so. Easy fishing I guess.
Good looking bird.
