The commute home started out nice, if a bit blustery. Then this –
It suddenly dropped ten degrees, and 6 minutes later I was enjoying a thoroughly rainy ride home. No complaints.
Actually, the headwind kinda sucked. There was that.

Snuck out for a ride a couple weeks back. Only took one picture –
And not a very good one at that. Whatever, it’s got a motorcycle and a train and some fall looking leaves. And that’s that. Time to put the motorcycle away for the winter, we’ll revisit in the spring.
Yes, it’s definitely fall –
He jumped up there on my way to work the other day, and stayed there for 20 some odd miles. Probably would still be there if a coworker hadn’t pulled him out.
Someone needs to clean and lube their drivetrain.
Just sayin.
This is Trailer (Well, that’s what I nicknamed him anyway. I don’t know his real name, and he doesn’t wear a collar. So I call him Trailer cause he’s always hanging around, sitting in the middle of the trail I use on my bike commute.) –
That’s pretty much his spot right there. About halfway home for me. I suspect he’s about halfway home too. Just hanging out in the awesome Fall sunshine. He’s a cool cat.

Synchronized Grass Eating –
This group pretty much has it figured out.
Good work deer, you’re saving the company bundles on landscaping services.
Dunno why, just like the contrasts of colors here –
Spotted on a storefront flower box in Truckee.
That’s all.
Monterey has some of the best –
The critters were out in force. Some just looking for food –
Some had already eaten and were taking their afternoon nap –
Some were just busy keeping up appearances –
Good work Mother Nature, you’re doing it right.
Stopped by the racetrack a couple weekends back, and bumped into our favorite racing driver. Bit of a surprise to see him, though I suspect it shouldn’t have been. The Porsche folks were having a bit of a soiree at Laguna Seca, and invited Ned to bring along his RSR for the weekend’s activities. Ned is a gearhead of the first order, and a certified Porsche freak, so him being at Rennsport is only natural.
A few shots –
There’s literally hundreds of shots of some really cool stuff from the day at the track. One morning I might get bored enough that I’ll sort out the best of them and post ’em up.
And a note to the racing driver in question;
Ned, you’re a bit of a –
That’s why it’s always good to see you and Kat.
Next time we’ll get together when things aren’t so hectic for you guys.
