Yesterday’s duck could learn a thing or two about how to pose like you –

This one has it figured out! He’s a Double-crested Cormorant. He’s young, maybe a year or so. And he’s way ahead of the duck. At least as far as posing for the camera. On a perfect, Spring-like afternoon.

Wind blew around here yesterday. Knocked over trees. Power out all over the place. The folks on the ferry runs were in for a wild ride.

So how do these little guys manage to hang on though that?
