Not this nice –

At least not that nice for me anyway. Some people might disagree.

Down at Log Boom Park a couple days ago –
He was cruising for a bite to eat. I believe he was in the mood for sushi.
And motorcycle. So if you have Monday off, it only makes sense to go for a motorcycle ride.
Some shots from the driver’s seat –
Good day off. Hope you had a nice Fourth of July.
Pedaling home this afternoon and look what I spied; Mom –
Dad –
And the kids –
Ringneck pheasants! They were all a bit nervous about me and kept trying to hide, but I managed a couple decent shots. Not the best photos, but it’s the bicycle point-n-shoot so there’s that.
One more of the proud papa and a bee on the flower next to him –
Good work Mother Nature, I like dad’s haircut. Fun stuff.
Who get right of way, stand up paddleboard guy or floatplane?
The paddleboard guy chickened out in the end. I would’ve too.
Took a week off. T’was a helluva break. Fun’s over, now back to it.
Let’s pick up where we left off with my friend the Great Blue Heron –
Looking like the proud fish eater he is.
Looking good heron, looking good.
For those that were wondering, the Ford’s were here –
Well not actually in Mount St Helens, but in the parking lot at the Johnston Ridge Observatory. Look closely at the background of yesterday’s photo and you can see the trees knocked over when the volcano blew it’s stack 36 years ago.
Helluva day for a ride.
